Job Title: Class Teacher (Full-Time)

Contract: December 2026 – possibilities of extension
Salary: M1 – M6 (dependent on experience)

About the Role:
We are excited to welcome a passionate and versatile Class Teacher to our Teaching Personnel starting September 2026. This full-time role offers a rewarding opportunity to inspire and guide pupils across Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2, creating a positive and engaging learning environment where every child can thrive.
As a versatile class teacher, you will plan and deliver high-quality lessons, adapt teaching to meet the needs of different year groups, and help pupils reach their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching across KS1 and/or KS2
- Plan and deliver well-structured, engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners
- Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress in line with school policies
- Establish and maintain high expectations for behaviour using positive and proactive strategies
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and school leadership
- Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and carers
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience teaching in KS1 and/or KS2
- Demonstrate strong classroom management and organisational skills
- Be committed to supporting pupils both academically and pastorally
- Be creative, enthusiastic, and flexible in their approach to teaching
Safeguarding & Recruitment Process:
This role is subject to full vetting checks through Teaching Personnel, including an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a formal interview process, which will include a lesson observation at the school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
