Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
A welcoming and forward-thinking primary school based in Amesbury is seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Class Teacher to join their team from September 2026 on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator who is confident in delivering high-quality teaching and learning across either Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2. The school prides itself on its inclusive ethos, strong community links, and commitment to nurturing every child’s potential.
About the Role
The successful candidate will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and well-structured lessons aligned with the national curriculum
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners
- Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress effectively
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for pupils
- Contribute to the wider life of the school community
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience or strong placement experience within KS1 or KS2
- Demonstrate strong classroom management and organisational skills
- Be committed to raising standards and improving pupil outcomes
- Show enthusiasm, flexibility, and a proactive approach to teaching
- Be a reflective practitioner with a passion for continuous professional development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
