Full-Time Class Teacher (KS1 or KS2)
Location: Amesbury, Wiltshire
Start Date: September 2026
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time

A welcoming and forward-thinking primary school based in Amesbury is seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Class Teacher to join their team from September 2026 on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator who is confident in delivering high-quality teaching and learning across either Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2. The school prides itself on its inclusive ethos, strong community links, and commitment to nurturing every child’s potential.

About the Role

The successful candidate will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and well-structured lessons aligned with the national curriculum
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners
  • Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress effectively
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for pupils
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school community

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have experience or strong placement experience within KS1 or KS2
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management and organisational skills
  • Be committed to raising standards and improving pupil outcomes
  • Show enthusiasm, flexibility, and a proactive approach to teaching
  • Be a reflective practitioner with a passion for continuous professional development

Recruitment Process

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
