Job description

Are you an enthusiastic, adaptable, and dedicated individual with a passion for education and making a difference in young people’s lives? If so, Teaching Personnel are looking for a supply teacher to join our team at schools in Manchester.

Throughout this role, you will be able to work on a flexible basis, managing your own availability.

You will earn a salary between £120 and £150 per day.

About the Role:

As a supply teacher, you will be responsible for covering classes in various subject and teaching pupils of varying abilities when the regular teacher is absent. You will be expected to manage the classroom and ensure that students continue to learn and are not disrupted by the absence of their regular teacher.

Required Qualifications:

  • A relevant teaching qualification (such as a Bachelor’s degree in education or a PGCE)
  • Experience teaching in a UK school setting
  • A valid teaching qualification (QTS) or willingness to obtain one.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in different schools and environments.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
