The roles
- Full-time role, Monday to Friday 8:30am to 3:30pm
- Two roles available
- Leyland based (PR25)
- Competitive hourly rate of pay £13.00 - £15.25 p/h
- Secondary SEMH provision
- Ability to deal with challenging behaviours and situations in a calm and professional manner
- No school related experience or qualifications required to apply for the role
The provision
- Secondary SEN/ SEMH (aged 11-16 years)
- All pupils have an EHC plan
- Caters to support the pupils educational and holistic development- providing their pupils with essential life skills
- Small class sizes (6-10 pupils)
- Staff required to be able to perform general classroom responsibilities, work with pupils on a small group and 1:1 basis

You do not need any school experience or qualifications to apply for this role, the school is looking for staff who are able to form respectful and positive relationships with their pupils. The role will include supporting pupils with SEN, SEMH and ASC on either small group or 1:1 basis. The school supports the whole-child rather than just their educational development. They provide intervention sessions for the pupils that provide them with essential life skills to further their development to continue their journey onto further education or into employment when they leave their provision.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
