Job description

CACHE Level 3 Teaching Assistant – East London

Location: Barking & Dagenham, Hackney, Havering, Newham, Redbridge, Tower Hamlets & Waltham Forest
Pay: Competitive rates based on experience

We are seeking enthusiastic CACHE Level 3 TAs to support pupils in early years and primary settings across East London.

✔️ Ideal Candidate:

  • CACHE Level 3 (or equivalent)
  • Experience supporting children in schools
  • Passion for helping pupils of all abilities
  • Proactive and able to take initiative
  • Resilient and consistent
  • Good communication and teamwork

✔️ Classroom Support & Behaviour Management:

  • Confident supporting whole‑class and small‑group learning
  • Following behaviour policies effectively
  • Skilled in supporting routines and transitions
  • Calm, positive behaviour reinforcement
  • Able to deliver 1:1 interventions when required

Requirements:

  • Updated CV
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
