Business Teacher (Part-Time – 2 Days per Week)
Location: Sheffield
Contract: Part-Time (2 Days per Week)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Start Date: September

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Business Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Sheffield on a part-time basis, working two days per week.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students and deliver engaging Business Studies lessons, helping learners develop their understanding of the business world and prepare for future academic and career opportunities.

The Role

  • Teach Business Studies across Key Stages 4 and 5 (where applicable).
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet curriculum requirements.
  • Assess, monitor, and support student progress and attainment.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation.
  • Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to the success of the department and wider school community.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and achievement.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Has experience teaching Business Studies within a secondary school or college setting.
  • Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a passion for education.
  • Possesses excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
  • Can motivate and inspire students to achieve their full potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
