Salary: From £165 per day (dependant on experience)
About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and knowledgeable Business Studies Teacher to join a high‑performing and forward‑thinking Business & Computing department.
You will deliver engaging, relevant, and real‑world lessons that inspire students and develop their understanding of business concepts across Key Stage 5. The ability to teach A-Level Business and related modules such as Enterprise, Marketing, Finance, or Economics is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver dynamic and differentiated Business Studies lessons to KS5 students.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing targeted feedback to help them succeed.
- Contribute to curriculum planning, development, and departmental resources.
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour, engagement, and academic standards.
- Participate in departmental meetings, CPD sessions, and whole‑school initiatives.
- Support the academic, personal, and professional growth of all learners.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent FE teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge and genuine passion for Business Studies.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- High expectations for all learners and a drive to raise attainment.
- Ability to build positive, professional relationships with students and staff.
- A reflective practitioner committed to ongoing professional development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
