Job Title: Business Studies Teacher (Key Stage 3 & 4)

Location: Hull

Contract Type: Temporary, Starting September 2023 - January 2024 (with potential of extension)

Salary: Paid to MPS/UPS Teacher Pay Scale

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Business Studies Teacher to join our team at a secondary school in the Hull area. The ideal candidate will have UK-recognised QTS, experience teaching up to GCSE Business Studies and a passion for inspiring young minds.


Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality Business Studies lessons for Key Stage 3 & 4 students
• Support and monitor the progress of all students in the class
• Provide regular feedback to students and parents on student progress
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and ideas
• Participate in school events and extracurricular activities as required
• Maintain a safe and positive learning environment for all students

Requirements:
• UK-recognised QTS and right-to-work in the UK
• Experience teaching up to GCSE Business Studies
• Child Workforce DBS check on the Update Service, or willing to apply for one
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate students
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Business Studies/Economics
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
