A specialist residential school in Horsham is looking for dedicated Behaviour Support Workers to help support autistic pupils across both classroom and residential settings. This is a full-time post involving a holistic approach to care and education, working closely with pupils who benefit from consistency across both school and home environments.
Your Role:

Support students’ learning during the day and routines during evening residential hours

Encourage independence in life skills, emotional regulation, and communication
-
Use positive behaviour strategies and promote a calm environment

Work with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure continuity of care
Who are we looking for?

Individuals with experience in care, autism support or SEN residential settings

Willingness to work varied hours including some evenings and weekends

Emotionally resilient, caring and consistent in approach

A team player who can offer structure and empathy

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
