Behaviour Support Mentors Needed | Carmarthenshire

£14.25 per hour
8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)

We're looking for compassionate, resilient and motivated individuals to support pupils within a specialist educational provision for young people with SEMH, behavioural needs and Additional Learning Needs (ALN).
This is a rewarding opportunity to become a positive role model, helping pupils build confidence, manage emotions and engage positively in education.
The Role
As a Behaviour Support Mentor, you will:
✅ Support pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis
✅ Build positive relationships and encourage engagement in learning
✅ Promote emotional regulation, confidence and independence
✅ Support classroom, outdoor and community-based activities
✅ Work closely with teaching staff and other professionals to help pupils achieve their goals

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
