Behaviour Support Assistant – Leeds (LS10 & surrounding areas)

Daily Rate: £90–£105/day
Contract: Full-Time | Long-Term | Temp-to-Perm Opportunities

We are seeking a Behaviour Support Assistant (BSA) to join a forward-thinking school in Leeds. This role is ideal for someone who is resilient, empathetic, and able to support young people who face challenges with their behaviour and learning.

The Role:

  • Provide behaviour support to pupils across the school in class, during break, and in transitions.

  • Work with pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis to develop positive learning habits.

  • Implement de-escalation strategies and maintain a calm, consistent approach.

  • Help pupils manage their emotions, build resilience, and re-engage with learning.

  • Collaborate closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in SEMH, SEND, youth work, or care settings.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust quickly.

  • Confident in behaviour management and proactive in offering support.

  • DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

  • Team Teach or similar training desirable (not essential).
