Teaching Personnel are proud to be working exclusively with a SEN School in Birmingham, who are seeking Behaviour Support Teaching Assistants to start in September on a full time basis. 

As a behaviour support TA, you could be working with students between the ages of 4-16 5 days a week who have needs including, but not limited to:

  • ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
  • SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health)
  • Anxiety
  • ASC (Autistic Spectrum Conditions)

You will be required to:

  • Support with Phonics, Literacy and Numeracy
  • Support in creative topics such as Art, Music and Outdoor Education
  • Support pupils on a 1:1 basis where required
  • Provide support with challenging behaviours

We are looking for applicants who:

  • Have proven experience working in educational settings or with children that have similar needs to those mentioned above
  • Are passionate, proactive and dedicated about improving the learning opportunities for children and young people
  • Have an ability to work with a range of children and young people with additional and complex needs
  • Are flexible, enthusiastic and resilient, with a good sense of humour

 

HOURS: 08:30-15:30 5 DAYS A WEEK MONDAY - FRIDAY

PAY: 66GBP - 72GBP

DURATION: FULL TIME WITH A CONTRACTED OPPORTUNITY

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
