Teaching Personnel have an opening for a Behavioural Support Assistant with a background in supporting pupils with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD).
You would be supporting Secondary School pupils who require additional support throughout the school day. This role would be starting immediately and is based at a client school in South Liverpool.
You will be required to work with small groups of students and on a 1:1 basis with children who struggle to engage in lessons and those who get easily distracted.
We welcome all applicants from support worker, care, coaching and education backgrounds. However, if you are not from these backgrounds and feel you would be great for this role, please still get in touch!
The ideal candidate will be willing to work on a full-time basis and enthusiastic about getting involved in school’s extra-curricular activities.
The ideal candidate should:
- Have experience working with SEN students.
- Be flexible and patient, as the Special Needs will vary from child to child.
- Be able to communicate effectively within a team environment.
- Have an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one through Teaching Personnel.
- UK address and full UK working rights.
- Safeguarding experience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
