Behaviour Support Assistant
Job description
Are you a confident individual who has experience supporting young people in the pressures they face daily?
We are looking for a Behaviour Support Assistant to work with pupils in our partnered secondary school who struggle with SEMH (social, emotional, and mental health) needs. You will work closely with SLT members and play a key part in managing behaviour interventions, supervising the isolation room, and providing targeted support to students with challenging behaviour.
The ideal candidate is enthusiastic and lively who is looking to positively impact others. On the job support is provided as well as resources to support you in the role. This is a challenging but hugely rewarding job that is all about building relationships in order to create safe learning spaces and encourage self-belief. Anyone with previous experience as a behaviour support assistant or has experience working with young children will be considered for the role.
The secondary school is based in Rochdale, with many means of transport to the school, including bus, tram, and main roads. The school also offer parking for all staff members.
The Successful candidate will start this January with a permanent opportunity available.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
