Join Our Team as a Behaviour Support Assistant
Llanelli | Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities | £92.95 per day (from April 1st)

We are currently looking for Behaviour Support Teaching Assistants to work in schools across Llanelli, supporting pupils who benefit from additional guidance with behaviour, emotional regulation, and learning engagement.

This role is perfect for people who are patient, proactive, and passionate about supporting young people to thrive in education.


What Does the Role Involve?

As a Behaviour Support / Intervention Teaching Assistant, you could be:

Supporting pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs
Delivering small-group or 1:1 intervention sessions
Helping students stay focused, motivated, and engaged in lessons
Implementing behaviour strategies and supporting positive outcomes
Acting as a positive role model and mentor for young learners

We Want to Hear From People With Backgrounds Like:

You don’t need to have worked in a school before! Many skills transfer brilliantly into education. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in:

Sports Coaches – great for mentoring, motivation, and teamwork
Psychology Graduates / Students – understanding behaviour and development
Youth Workers or Community Workers – supporting young people in challenging situations
Drama or Creative Arts Practitioners – building confidence and engagement
Support Workers / Care Workers – patience, empathy, and resilience
Aspiring Teachers – fantastic classroom experience before teacher training
Anyone with experience working with children or young people

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
