Teaching Personnel are looking for caring, resilient and enthusiastic Behaviour Mentors to join their team, working in schools across Hastings and the surrounding local areas.
A successful applicant will have:
- Experience working with children or young people in an educational, care, youth work or similar setting
- A strong understanding of behaviour management strategies and the ability to build positive relationships with students
- Knowledge of safeguarding, always prioritising the safety and wellbeing of children and young people
- A calm, patient and empathetic approach when supporting students with social, emotional and behavioural needs
- The confidence to act as a positive role model and help students develop emotional regulation and coping skills
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with school staff, families and external professionals
- A genuine passion for supporting young people to achieve their potential

Behaviour Mentor roles are ideal for candidates with backgrounds in youth work, sports coaching, children's residential care, mental health support, mentoring, or education who are passionate about helping young people succeed.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
