Autism Teaching Assistant
Location: Bradford SEND secondary school
Contract: Full-time, long term, part time and daily work available
Start Date: As soon as you are cleared for work
Do you have the patience, empathy, and determination to support children with autism in their learning journey? We’re looking for an autism teaching assistant to join a specialist setting where your support will make a real and lasting impact.
What you’ll be doing:

Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with autism

Helping pupils access learning through tailored strategies and structured routines

Supporting social, emotional, and academic development

Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and therapists to deliver consistent support
What we’re looking for:

Experience working with autism or SEND (professional or personal)

A calm, nurturing approach and strong communication skills

The ability to build positive, trusting relationships with pupils

Someone reliable, resilient, and ready to learn new strategies

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
