A Pupil Referral and Medical Unit catering for pupils not in mainstream education, who are both vulnerable and challenging, are seeking an Attendance Officer.
The post will involve working with the Attendance Manager in supporting pupils and families who require additional support to overcome their barriers to learning.
The successful candidate will be resilient and confident working in a busy environment, able to communicate effectively and relate to both pupils and adults, as well as having the ability to work calmly under pressure.
You will have a friendly manner, good organisational skills, and be able to work on your own initiative as well as dealing sensitively with children, parents and outside agencies.
Experience of working in an office environment is preferred, and IT skills including word and excel are essential.
This post is 32.5 hours and is term time only.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
