Job Title: Newly Qualified & Aspiring Teachers
Location: Chepstow
Contract Type: Full Time & Part Time Available
Pay: Weekly pay
Teaching Personnel are recruiting newly qualified and aspiring teachers to work across a range of primary school settings in the Chepstow area. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are at the start of their teaching careers and are eager to gain hands-on classroom experience, build confidence, and develop their teaching practice in supportive school environments.
This role is ideal for ECTs, final-year students, or aspiring teachers who are passionate about education, adaptable in their approach, and keen to make a positive impact on pupils while exploring different school settings.
About the Role
- Deliver engaging lessons across Foundation Phase and Key Stage 2
- Follow pre-planned lessons or plan and prepare work where required
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Gain experience across a range of schools and year groups
- Develop confidence in classroom management and lesson delivery
- Work flexibly in day-to-day, short-term or long-term roles
The Ideal Candidate
- Newly Qualified Teacher (ECT) or aspiring teacher
- Final-year education students or graduates considering teacher training
- Passionate, enthusiastic and committed to pupil progress
- Confident communicator with a proactive attitude
- Flexible and adaptable to different school environments
- Keen to learn and develop teaching skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
Experience may come from placements, supply work, tutoring, school support roles, or voluntary experience in education settings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
