Location: ST4 - Stoke on Trent
Pay: £160–£220 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time | Term Time Only
Start Date: September Start
We are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive school in the ST3 area for a passionate and creative Art Teacher to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire students through engaging and imaginative art lessons, encouraging creativity, self-expression, and confidence in a supportive learning environment.
The Role
- Plan and deliver engaging Art lessons across the relevant key stages.
- Foster creativity while developing students' artistic skills and techniques.
- Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN), where appropriate.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and inspiring classroom environment.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Art within a secondary or specialist school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for creative education.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- A commitment to supporting students to achieve their full potential.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable (or willingness to obtain one).
