Location: Solihull
Start Date: ASAP / Oct 2026
Contract: Full-time
Pay: Paid to Scale (MPS/UPS), depending on experience

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking an enthusiastic and talented Teacher of Art to join a successful secondary school in Solihull.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Art teacher to join a supportive department and inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will have excellent subject knowledge, a creative approach to teaching and the ability to engage and motivate students through inspiring and personalised lessons.

The Role

As a Teacher of Art you will:

  • Deliver engaging and creative Art lessons across KS3 and KS4.
  • Inspire students to develop their creativity, confidence and artistic skills.
  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
  • Support students in developing their knowledge and practical skills.
  • Contribute positively to the wider Art department.
  • Encourage a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support students in achieving strong academic and creative outcomes.

‍ The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a teacher who:

  • Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Has experience teaching Art within a secondary school setting.
  • Has strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Art and Design
  • Is able to teach Art confidently to GCSE level.
  • Can motivate and inspire students through engaging lessons.
  • Has high expectations of students and is committed to their progress.
  • Works well as part of a supportive and collaborative department.

Experience teaching A Level Art and Design would be desirable but is not essential.
