About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is seeking a creative and passionate Art Teacher to work across a variety of secondary schools in South Yorkshire. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to gain experience in different school settings or secure a long-term role.
You will play a key role in inspiring students to explore their creativity, develop artistic techniques, and express themselves through a range of mediums.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Art lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable)
- Teach a variety of artistic disciplines such as drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media
- Encourage creativity, confidence, and self-expression in students
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Display and celebrate student work within the school
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Degree in Art, Fine Art, or a related subject
- Experience teaching Art in a secondary school setting
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- A genuine passion for the arts and student development
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
