Location: South & Central Manchester
Pay: £750 – £950 per week
Contract: Full-time, Temporary (Supply) – Long‑term options available

Are you a passionate and creative Art Teacher looking to inspire students through drawing, painting, sculpture, and a wide range of artistic techniques? Teaching Personnel are recruiting for secondary schools across South and Central Manchester seeking an Art Teacher for a supply position. As a supply teacher, you’ll focus on teaching and motivating students without the added responsibilities of a permanent role. You’ll be expected to adapt quickly to new school environments and deliver both practical and theoretical Art lessons to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Art lessons across KS3 and KS4, covering a range of mediums and techniques.
- Encourage creativity, experimentation, and confidence in a supportive classroom environment.
- Manage behaviour effectively and maintain a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere.
- Follow provided lesson plans and adhere to school policies and expectations.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of the Art curriculum and a passion for creative education.
- Previous experience teaching Art in a secondary school environment.
- Ability to engage and inspire students of varying abilities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
