Location: Lyme Regis

Contract: Full-time
Salary: MPS/UPS, dependent on experience
Teaching Personnel are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Art Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Lyme Regis. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who is looking for a new challenge and wants to make a real difference to students' learning and development.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative Art lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop their artistic skills, confidence and understanding of a range of techniques and disciplines.
The Role:

Plan and deliver engaging Art lessons across KS3 and KS4

Inspire students through creative and practical learning

Develop students' technical skills, creativity and confidence

Assess and monitor student progress effectively
-
Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment

Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Art and wider Creative Arts department
The Ideal Candidate:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience
-
Experience teaching Art within a secondary school setting
-
Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Art and creativity
-
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
-
Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities

A positive, professional and enthusiastic approach
