Contract: Full-time

A creative and forward-thinking secondary school in Christchurch is seeking an inspiring and passionate Art Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis from January 2026.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging and imaginative Art and Design lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, encouraging students to explore their creativity, develop technical skills and express themselves through a variety of artistic mediums. The school prides itself on fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment where both staff and students can thrive.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

  • Have experience teaching Art and Design at secondary level

  • Demonstrate a passion for creativity and innovation in the classroom

  • Be committed to supporting students of all abilities to achieve their artistic potential

  • Contribute positively to the wider school community and departmental development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
