Are you a creative and passionate Art Teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity in Bath? We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Art to join a forward-thinking and supportive secondary school in Bath from September.

The Role

As an Art Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that encourage creativity, experimentation, and artistic expression. You will create a positive learning environment where all students can develop confidence in their abilities and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Planning and delivering high-quality Art lessons to secondary students
  • Teaching a broad and engaging Art curriculum across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Assessing, monitoring, and tracking student progress
  • Creating a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment
  • Encouraging creativity, critical thinking, and self-expression
  • Supporting students of varying abilities to achieve outstanding outcomes
  • Contributing to the wider school community and extracurricular activities
  • Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom management

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a candidate who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
  • Has experience teaching Art within a secondary school setting
  • Is passionate about creative education and student achievement
  • Can inspire and motivate students of all abilities
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills
  • Has strong subject knowledge and a creative approach to teaching
  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting student welfare

Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply.
