Adhoc SEN Teaching Assistants needed!
Teaching Personnel are working specialist primary and secondary SEN provisions in the Preston and surrounding areas to recruit committed SEN Teaching Assistants for adhoc work, with potnetial for full-time or permanent contracts. These roles are suited to candidates with experience supporting children or adults with Special Educational Needs, including ASD, SEMH, ADHD or learning difficulties. The settings we work with provide a supportive and structured environment, focusing on individual needs, emotional wellbeing and positive outcomes for pupils.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils on a one-to-one basis or in small groups, assist with learning activities, and help manage behaviour in line with school policies. You will work closely with teachers and support staff to help pupils access the curriculum and develop both academically and socially.
Requirements for the role include:
• Experience working with children or adults with SEN or additional needs, not necessarily within an educational setting.
• A patient, caring and resilient approach.
• Ability to build positive relationships and support emotional regulation.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil welfare.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
