Academic & Pastoral Tutor – Atherton (M46)

Every learner matters. Every session counts.

Are you someone who believes in the power of personalised learning?
TP Tutors is recruiting for Academic & Pastoral Tutors in Atherton (M46) to support pupils who need a little extra guidance — both academically and emotionally.

You’ll work with young people outside mainstream education, helping them to build structure, self-belief, and progress in key subjects like Maths and English. Sessions are designed around the learner — not the other way around. Whether you’re rebuilding confidence, preparing for exams, or simply encouraging engagement, your support will have a lasting impact.

Tutoring is carried out face-to-face, either at home or in community spaces. You’ll have the freedom to be creative, compassionate, and flexible — shaping sessions that fit the learner’s needs and pace.

We’d love to hear from you if you:

  • Have teaching, tutoring, or mentoring experience

  • Can adapt lessons to different abilities and emotional needs

  • Have a calm, encouraging approach

  • Hold (or are happy to apply for) an Enhanced DBS

What TP Tutors offers:

  • Hourly pay between £25–£30

  • Flexible working during the school day

  • Weekly PAYE pay (no umbrella deductions)

  • Ongoing consultant and CPD support

Help learners in Atherton (M46) rediscover their confidence and curiosity. Apply now and be part of TP Tutors, where every learner’s journey matters.
