TP Tutors are recruiting for an English A Level tutor to work part time with groups of Year 12 and Year 13 pupils at a popular secondary academy in Bradford, starting January 2024. 

The school: A popular secondary academy that puts learning first. They help students to value learning by activating them as owners of their own learning, utilising the pedagogical approaches of flipped learning and mastery.

Pay: £25-£35 an hour depending on group size and experience.

Key Responsibilities: Plan and execute targeted sessions to aid pupil’s progress. Ensure sessions help pupils improve along the curriculum. Behaviour management is key to this role to ensure high engagement for pupil’s tuition hours.

Essential Qualifications and Skills: QTS with a specialism in English Language or Literature plus experience teaching the A Level National Curriculum and AQA/Edexcel exam boards.

A child workforce only DBS that is on the update service is desirable (for a speedy registration) however, once can be applied for through TP Tutors.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
