TP Tutors is expanding in Andover and is seeking committed SEN Tutors to provide bespoke 1:1 and small group tuition in Maths, English and Science.

This position centres on delivering tailored core subject support to learners who require a personalised and flexible educational approach.

Role Details

Position: SEN Tutor – Core Subjects
Location: Andover – learner homes and community settings
Hours: Flexible to suit your availability

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess academic starting points in core subjects

  • Develop structured learning plans aligned to EHCP targets

  • Deliver engaging Maths, English and Science sessions

  • Adapt strategies to support additional needs

  • Provide clear and consistent progress reporting

Requirements

  • Strong subject knowledge in at least one core area

  • Experience working with SEN learners

  • Knowledge of inclusive teaching approaches

  • Professional, patient and resilient attitude

  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
