SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant – CF5 – January Start
A warm and welcoming primary school in the CF5 area is looking for a caring, reliable and proactive SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join their team from January. This is a long-term position until the end of the academic year, with the potential to continue for the right person.
In this role, you’ll be working one-to-one with a pupil who needs additional support throughout the school day. The school is incredibly supportive and has a lovely, community feel — perfect for someone who enjoys getting involved and making a genuine impact.
What the school is looking for:

Experience supporting children in any setting (school, nursery, coaching, youth groups, etc.)

A calm, nurturing and patient approach
-
Someone who’s happy to get stuck in and adapt to the child’s needs
-
Confidence with learning support and emotional/behavioural guidance

Eagerness to learn and take direction from the SENCO and class teacher
The role includes:

1:1 support throughout lessons and transitions
-
Helping the pupil access learning and stay engaged
-
Using strategies and guidance from the SENCO/class teacher
-
Working closely with a supportive, friendly staff team

Pay: £89.38 per day, paid every Friday
Requirements:

DBS on the Update Service (we can help you apply if needed)

EWC registration (support provided)

Safeguarding training (we can also assist)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
