Pay: £400 – £435 (PER WEEK)

Location: Newcastle

Role: 1:1 TA

Are you looking to find a job where you inspire pupils and encourage their learning each day? Teaching Personnel have just the role for you. We are currently working with one of our client Primary Schools in the Newcastle area to hire a Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a young SEND pupil. The role is to begin ASAP and will run until the end of the academic year. Our rates of pay are very competitive and we would love or you to apply given you have the relevant experience.

Candidate requirements:

  • Experience working with SEND pupils (desired)
  • Hold a child only DBS accessible on the update service or be willing to apply for one
  • Calm and nurturing attitude
  • Ability to use initiative and offer whole class support when needed
  • Experience working in a school setting (desired)
  • Hold a Level 2 TA qualification (desired)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
