On 25th May 2018 the Data Protection Act 2018 came into force in the UK, enacting the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).This new legislation enhanced and extended the existing data protection laws and is designed to safeguard personal data and give individuals new rights over how their personal data is collected and processed. Teaching Personnel have all necessary policies, processes and securities in place to comply with its obligations and protect your rights. There is a clear roadmap of work to ensure we maintain security and minimise risk.
