Salary: MPS (dependent on experience)

We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated and motivated Year 6 teacher to join our supportive and welcoming school community in Wheatley, Doncaster, to cover maternity leave from 23 February 2026 until Christmas 2026.
This position will be offered through Teaching Personnel.
This is an exciting opportunity to teach a hardworking and engaging Year 6 class during a key stage of their primary education, including preparation for end-of-key-stage assessments.
The successful candidate will:

Be a qualified teacher (QTS) with experience of teaching in KS2 (Year 6 experience desirable)

Have high expectations of pupil achievement, behaviour and wellbeing

Demonstrate strong knowledge of the Year 6 curriculum and assessment requirements

Be committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning

Work effectively as part of a collaborative and supportive team

Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
