Year 4 Class Teacher – Full Time

Start Date: Monday 23rd February (After Feb Half-Term)
A welcoming and well-established primary school in Warrington is seeking a strong, confident Year 4 Class Teacher to join their team from February. This role would suit a teacher who is secure in their practice, sets high expectations, and has excellent behaviour management skills.
You will be taking on a Year 4 class within a supportive school that values consistency, structure, and high-quality teaching. The leadership team is approachable and hands-on, providing clear guidance and ongoing support.
The Role:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons aligned with the KS2 National Curriculum.
- Establish and maintain clear routines and expectations to ensure excellent behaviour for learning.
- Use confident behaviour management strategies to create a calm, purposeful classroom.
- Assess progress accurately and adapt teaching to meet pupils’ needs.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and senior leaders.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Be a strong classroom practitioner with secure behaviour management skills.
- Have experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 4 experience preferred but not essential).
- Be confident, resilient, and consistent in their approach.
- Have high expectations for pupil behaviour, engagement, and achievement.
- Be committed to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
