Y2 Teacher

Primary School in Leyland

Long-term full-time teaching role

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Key Stage 1 Teacher to join a well-established staff team and well resourced KS1 department. Applicants must have experience of teaching the UK curriculum.

The ideal candidate will have recent teaching experience and be comfortable and confident teaching across Y1 and Y2.

Applicants should be committed and outstanding teaching practitioners, able to lead in the classroom by example. The candidate must:

-          Hold UK QTS (via BA Hons with QTS, B. Ed, SCITT or PGCE routes).

-          Have previously experience of teaching within a Primary setting ideally across KS1.

-          Have a genuine passion for improving the learning experience of each child.

-          Confident communicator with good collaborative team working skills.

-          Capable of providing an inclusive learning environment.

This school provides the National Curriculum to a diverse cohort, experience of differentiating for pupils with EAL and SEN is essential. Experience of planning for support staff is also essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
