Year 2 Class Teacher – Primary School in High Wycombe
Location: High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire
Contract: Full-time (Monday to Friday)
Start Date:  January 2026 or sooner
Salary: Paid to scale (MPS/UPS) depending on experience

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a welcoming and well-resourced primary school in High Wycombe, who are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 2 Class Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis.

This is a long-term role, requiring full planning, preparation, and delivery of lessons, as well as active participation in the wider life of the school. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting children through the Key Stage 1 curriculum and ensuring every pupil achieves their full potential.

The Role:

  • Full-time class teacher for a Year 2 class (Monday to Friday)

  • Full planning, preparation, marking, and assessment required

  • Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff

  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and the wider school community

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Recent experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (Year 2 preferred)

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills

  • A commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment

  • The ability to plan creative and inspiring lessons
