Teaching Personnel are working with a friendly and welcoming Primary School in Crigglestone (WF4) who are seeking a dedicated Year 1 Teacher to cover a maternity leave. This long-term role is ideal for an experienced KS1 teacher looking for solid classroom experience in a supportive school.

About the Role

As the Year 1 Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and creative lessons aligned with the school’s planning
• Support pupils’ early learning development and build foundational skills
• Create a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment
• Maintain excellent behaviour management and follow school policies
• Work closely with the KS1 team and leadership
• Uphold safeguarding and professional standards at all times

What We’re Looking For

You must have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching in KS1
• Strong behaviour and classroom management
• A positive, adaptable, and professional approach
• Experience with RWI Phonics preferred
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
• The legal right to work in the UK
