Job Title: Welsh-Medium Supply Teacher

School Type: Primary

Location: Newport & Torfaen

Salary: Minimum £157.66 per day

Job Type: Full-time or Part-time

We are looking for enthusiastic and passionate Welsh-Medium Supply Teachers to join our team in Torfaen and Newport. As a supply teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to students across all age ranges and abilities. You will need to be adaptable, reliable, and able to work in a variety of settings.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects and year groups
  • Ensuring that all students are engaged and motivated to learn
  • Providing constructive feedback and support to students to help them achieve their full potential
  • Maintaining a safe and positive learning environment
  • Building strong relationships with students, staff, and parents

Requirements:

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
  • A proven track record of delivering high-quality lessons
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A passion for teaching and a commitment to student learning
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a variety of settings
  • Newly qualified teachers are encouraged to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
