Job Title: 1:1 Tutor – Worcester Area
Location: Worcester, Worcestershire (home-based or local school placements)
Hours: Part-time / Flexible / Full-time
About the Role:
TP Tutors is currently looking for a dedicated and patient 1:1 Tutor to provide personalised educational support to students in the Worcester area. In this role, you will work closely with learners to help them build confidence, overcome learning barriers, and achieve their academic goals.
Tutoring sessions may take place in students’ homes, schools, or community settings, depending on the needs of the learner. This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who are passionate about making a meaningful difference in students’ educational journeys.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality 1:1 tuition in core subjects such as English, Maths, or Science

Adapt lesson plans to meet the individual needs and learning styles of each student

Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback

Build positive and professional relationships with students and families
-
Create a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment
Requirements:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant tutoring/teaching experience

Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-
Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons independently

Flexibility to travel within the Worcester area

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
