Job Title: 1:1 Tutor – Kettering Area (Home or School Setting)
Location: Kettering
Job Type: Part-time / Flexible (During School Hours)
Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience)
About the Role:
We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced 1:1 Tutors to support learners in the Kettering area, either at their home or school during school hours. You will work closely with students to help improve their academic performance, build confidence, and support their individual learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver personalised 1:1 tuition tailored to the student’s needs
-
Support core subjects such as English and Maths (additional subjects desirable)
-
Plan and adapt lessons to suit different learning styles and abilities
-
Monitor progress and provide feedback to parents or school staff
-
Create a positive and engaging learning environment
Requirements:
-
Minimum 2 years’ teaching or tutoring experience within the UK curriculum
-
Strong subject knowledge
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-
Patient, reliable, and passionate about education
-
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
-
Right to work in the UK
Desirable:
-
Experience working with SEN or vulnerable learners
-
Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
