Teaching Personnel are currently working with a Care and Education Group that are looking to appoint Teaching Assistants for their independent SEMH School in Rochdale.

37 hours per week, term time only with a competitive salary.

The school are looking to appoint Teaching Assistants who are dynamic, committed and enthusiastic with a keen interest in helping young people with social, emotional, mental health and behavioural needs.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised and be able to support both in and out of the classroom. The school require their Teaching Assistants to have good numeracy and literacy skills and be able to communicate effectively with both pupils and staff teams.

Teaching Assistants will be required to work closely as part of a team and be flexible enough to take on a range of duties including support in class, working 1:1 with pupils as necessary and supporting with outbound trips and activities. You would also be required to contribute to team meetings and basic reporting. Above all a good sense of humour and a cheerful dispostion is a must for this role.

Successful applicants are required to undergo an enhanced DBS disclosure and provide satisfactory references.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
