Full-Time Teaching Assistant – SEN School (Yeovil)
We are currently working with a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Yeovil who are seeking Full-Time Teaching Assistants to join their dedicated team.
The school supports pupils aged 4–16 with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD). This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a supportive and nurturing environment.
The role will involve:

Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis

Assisting the class teacher with daily learning activities
-
Supporting pupils with communication, emotional regulation and behaviour
-
Helping to create a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment
The ideal candidate will:

Have experience working with children or young people (SEN experience desirable but not essential)

Be patient, caring and resilient
-
Be able to work full-time during term time
-
Have a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
