One of our Secondary pupil referral units are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their team for the new academic year.

This school supports secondary students that struggle to achieve their goals in a mainstream setting and require additional support in a specialist setting.  

In this role as a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Work under the supervision of the class teacher and help to prepare resources.
• Support pupils to reach their full potential and help them to engage in their learning.
• Work in small groups with pupils and potentially 1:1.

The ideal Teaching Assistant will have-

• Good relationship building skills
• The ability to motivate and engage pupils
• Experience working with children with social, emotional, and mental health needs

The Teaching Assistant role is based in South Manchester and is easily accessible by car or public transport.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
