The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Work closely with class teachers to support teaching and learning.
- Provide targeted support to individual pupils and small groups.
- Help deliver creative and engaging lessons tailored to pupils’ needs.
- Promote positive behaviour and contribute to a safe, supportive classroom environment.
- Encourage children’s confidence, independence, and academic progress.
- Always adhere to school policies and safeguarding procedures.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with children in a primary school setting (EYFS, KS1, and/or KS2).
- Holds a Teaching Assistant qualification or has relevant classroom experience (preferred but not essential).
- Is patient, adaptable, and nurturing in their approach.
- Feels confident supporting classroom routines and behaviour management.
- Works effectively on a one-to-one basis and with small groups.
- Demonstrates professionalism, reliability, and a strong commitment to safeguarding.
