Are you passionate about helping children and young people thrive? Are you motivated to support those who have experienced barriers to education due to social, emotional or mental health (SEMH) needs, anxiety, or medical issues?
We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our skilled, compassionate team. You will work across primary and secondary, helping pupils re-engage in learning through supportive, structured, and nurturing relationships.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

Work closely with class teachers and pastoral staff to support learning
-
Build trusted relationships with pupils who may have experienced disrupted education
-
Adapt support to individual needs through Personalised Learning Plans (PLPs)
-
Promote emotional resilience, positive behaviour, and self-belief
-
Support delivery of academic subjects and enrichment activities

About You:

Skilled at building rapport with young people, especially those with SEMH or SEND

Flexible and proactive, with strong teamwork and communication skills

Committed to inclusion, equity, and the safeguarding of all children

Experienced supporting childen or young people with similar needs mentioned above.
- Willing to drive from to Poole occasionally to work in our satelite site (driving licence and access to a vehicle required).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
