Supply Teacher  – Primary school

Southampton

Are you a qualified teacher in the Southampton area?

This role is fit for a teacher seeking short or long-term work, a healthy work-life balance and variety across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.  

 

Role specifics

  • Providing high-quality teaching for day-to-day, short-term and long-term supply assignments.
  • Delivering pre-planned lessons while adapting to the needs of individual pupils and classes.
  • Creating a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Supporting pupils’ academic progress, confidence and wellbeing.
  • Working collaboratively with school staff and following safeguarding procedures and school policies.

 

What will you need for this role?

  • QTS (Qualified teacher status) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching KS1 and/or KS2
  • Be reliable, confident and professional
  • Have genuine passion for teaching
  • Hold a Child DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
