Daily Supply Teacher - Immediate Start

 

Location: Southampton, Hampshire

Start Date: Immediate

 

An Ofsted rated overall “Good” Secondary School with “Outstanding” in Behaviour and Personal Development is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and motivated Supply Teacher to join their team!

This opportunity is well suited to Early Career Teachers wishing to gain further experience, experienced teachers seeking flexible working arrangements, or educators looking to maintain their teaching practice while reducing workload.

 

The Role

The school is seeking adaptable and enthusiastic educators to join their team on an ad-hoc basis, providing cover during periods of staff absence across a range of subjects.

As a supply teacher, you will be responsible for supervising pre-prepared lessons, maintaining a calm and purposeful classroom environment, and ensuring that students remain engaged in their learning. You will also be expected to follow the school’s behaviour and safeguarding policies, collect completed work at the end of lessons, and provide feedback to teaching staff where appropriate.

 

Who We Are Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Previous experience working with secondary-aged pupils, including exposure to SEN
  • Confident and adaptable in a classroom setting
  • Strong communication skills
  • The ability to build positive relationships with students
  • Have a genuine enthusiasm for supporting young people and contributing to their educational development

 

Working Hours / Benefits

This is a flexible position, with full-time and part-time opportunities available on an ad hoc basis, an immediate start and competitive daily pay rate.
