The Role
As a Subject Specialist Teacher, you will:
• Plan and deliver engaging, well structured lessons within your specialist subject
• Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and the ability to adapt content to meet a range of abilities
• Assess, monitor and track student progress effectively
• Create a positive, purposeful learning environment that promotes high expectations
• Differentiate learning to support SEND, EAL and higher attaining pupils
• Contribute to curriculum development and departmental improvement
• Build positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues
• Uphold safeguarding policies and promote student wellbeing
You may be required to teach across multiple year groups and contribute to wider school life, including intervention programmes, enrichment activities and exam preparation sessions.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for teachers who:
• Hold QTS, QTLS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Have strong subject expertise and curriculum knowledge
• Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills
• Have experience teaching in UK secondary schools
• Show evidence of raising student attainment
• Are reflective practitioners committed to continuous professional development
• Can quickly build rapport and adapt to different school environments
Both experienced teachers and confident ECTs are encouraged to apply.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
