Student Primary Teacher Opportunity – Start Your Teaching Journey with Us!

Location: NP20
Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday
Pay: £89.38 – £130 per day, increasing to £172.98 per day once QTS is achieved

Teaching Personnel is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Student Teachers to provide supply and long-term cover across a variety of primary schools in the NP20 area. This flexible role is perfect for aspiring teachers who want to develop their skills while making a real difference in the classroom.

What you’ll be doing

As a Student Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver supply and long-term cover across a range of primary year groups

  • Create an engaging, positive learning environment for pupils

  • Bring enthusiasm, creativity, and adaptability into every classroom

  • Gain practical experience in different school settings before securing QTS

  • Passionate about teaching and supporting children’s learning

  • Adaptable, confident, and comfortable in different classroom environments

  • Professional, dependable, and keen to develop your experience

What you’ll need

To be considered, you’ll need:

  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (Child Workforce)

  • Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)

  • The right to work in the UK

  • Two recent teaching references
